           Zack O'Malley Greenburg is an American author, journalist, and former child-actor. Zack began his professional career in writing as a 14 year-old as he reviewed video games for Boy's Life Magazine. From there he became a sports columnist in high school and an "arts and living" writer soon after. Zack is well known for his reports on business, travel, music, and finance for Forbes Magazine. Another huge accomplishment throughout Zack's young career is his reputation within the journalism industry. Zack is actually regarded as an expert by many reputable news sites such as: CNBC, BBC, Bloomberg Business Week, Reuters, NPR, and other print, web, radio, and video outlets.

          Zack O'Malley Greenburg's most well-known accomplishment is his biography of Jay-Z titled, "Empire State of Mind: How Jay-Z Went From Street Corner to Corner Office." Zack found a way to incorporate two of his passions, music and business, in one book. Zack took a very interesting approach in writing this book since he has no personal interview with Jay-Z throughout the entire book. Just a year prior to the release of "Empire State of Mind," Jay-Z released his autobiography, "Decoded." Greenburg actually took an alternative route for sources of his book as he interviewed people around Jay-Z throughout the major parts of his life. The beginning of the book has interviews with Jay-Z's former elementary school teachers and classmates. Later, he incorporates personal testimony from people in all areas of Jay-Z's life such as when he went to Africa on a charity mission trip. Collectively, this approach was very effective and well done.
